Riley Cooper

What Too Much Alcohol (And A Video Camera) Does To Your Career

August 2, 2013 by Micheal Savoie

After a video surfaced Wednesday of Riley Cooper wanting to “fight every ‘racial slur’ out there” at a Kenny Chesney concert in June, the Philadelphia Eagle Wide Receiver’s life has changed…

Not only does he alienate a large portion of his teammates, but his opponents will be gunning for him as well. If you think the Saints bounty scandal was bad, wait until players start chipping off on Riley during games.

Of course, Riley apologized to fans and his teammates:

LeSean McCoy On Riley Cooper: ‘I Can’t Respect A Guy Like That’

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Riley Cooper has lost the friendship of at least one teammate after a video of him uttering a racial slur went viral this week.

Let’s face it. Drugs and alcohol serve to remove the inhibitions that keep us from saying things like that. Cooper is beginning to see why too much drink can injure you in more ways than a hangover. Of course, trusting the people around you who have video cameras can also help keep things like this from blowing up…
