As I finish up this list, I am reminded that my crystal ball is sometimes cloudy… I should have realized the cloudiness was because of the 34 minute rain (lightning) delay for the Thursday night game, which totally changed the outcome of the game. Who would have guessed that Peyton Manning would throw for 7 touchdown passes and that Michael Oher and Jacoby Jones would get injured? Anyway, I was a little off on that game… Broncos won 49-27
Let’s get back to predictions starting with the 4PM starts
The 49ers will defeat the Packers
Aaron Rodgers will make me pay for this, but the 49ers defense will put a hurting on the offensive line of Green Bay. Expect some sacks for the Aldon Smith and Justin Smith tag team.
Cardinals will upset the Rams
Bruce Arians will call some tricky offensive plays for Carson Palmer to make in this game, but the star will be the Cardinals defense, who will make life difficult for Sam Bradford.
Cowboys will end the home losing streak against the Giants
The Giants will come out strong, but I see the Cowboys defense causing Eli Manning to make some bad decisions and the Cowboys will win the turnover war.
Monday Night Doubleheader
The Washington Redskins will overpower the Eagles in prime time
Chip Kelly’s up tempo offense will confuse the Redskins defense for the first half, but the Redskins running game will keep the Eagles offense off the field during the second half. Expect a hard hitting game, as we see Riley Cooper in actual game situations.
The Texans will overpower the Chargers
Expect the Texans to make life difficult for Philip Rivers. JJ Watt ought to have a great game with batted balls and at least one sack.
If you disagree with any of these, feel free to leave a comment.
